TWO kitchen knives and a hammer were reportedly recovered by police after officers were called out to an alleged disturbance in a Helensburgh street last week.
Officers responded to reports of a man in Kirkmichael Road allegedly causing a disturbance and in possession of a knife on the night of Wednesday, September 25.

A 30-year-old man from Fisher Place was arrested at the scene, and a search resulted in the discovery of the weapons.
Police say the items were submitted for forensic analysis and further charges will be laid if fingerprints and DNA identify the person who was in possession of them in the street.
