Police say the accused, from Londonderry, then attempted to headbutt and bite one of the arresting officers when being sat in the police vehicle, and due to his aggression, a cell van was called in to take him to the custody suite at Clydebank police station.
He will be the subject of a report to the procurator fiscal for the alleged disorder offence and assaulting a police officer.
