COMEDIAN Al Murray is coming to Helensburgh later this month for an afternoon of music, film and chat.

The popular stand-up, who is well known as his stage character the Pub Landlord, will check in at The Tower Digital Arts Centre on Sunday, October 27.

The event is being curated by Sushil K Dade, also known as Future Pilot, who previously brought music guru Alan McGee to the Burgh back in April.

Organisers are keen to point out that the upcoming show will not be a stand-up comedy routine, however, the day will still be a lot of fun and tickets are on sale now.

Al will be performing on drums with his band Fat Cops before introducing the iconic rock documentary parody This is Spinal Tap, directed by Rob Reiner.

Doors open at 3pm for the event and tickets, which cost £20 for adults and £17 for senior citizens, are available via helensburghboxoffice.com or by phoning 01436 645 006.
