A 55-year-old man was arrested after the accident on the A814
A HELENSBURGH man was arrested for alleged drink driving after crashing his car near Cardross at the weekend.
Police attended the scene of the accident near Geilston just before midnight on Saturday, October 12 to find a sliver Astra on its side in a field.
The driver, a 55-year-old male, was found by officers next to the vehicle and was arrested after allegedly failing a roadside breath test.
A report has been submitted to the procurator fiscal.
