TWO women and a man have been charged with alleged possession of controlled drugs following a police search of a house in Helensburgh.

Officers attended an address in Fisher Place in the Churchill area at around 11am on Tuesday, October 29 with a drugs search warrant.

Once inside, a 38-year-old woman from a separate address in the street was charged with obstructing police and possession of a controlled drug.

A 36-year-old man from Glasgow was also charged with possession of a controlled drug, while another 38-year-old woman, the householder at the property, was charged with three counts of the same offence.

Cocaine and tablets believed to be diazepam and tramadol were said to have been recovered, and all three people are the subject of reports to the procurator fiscal.
