A HELENSBURGH teenager was arrested and charged last week for allegedly shouting abuse at police officers in the town.
Officers were attending an unrelated incident in Sinclair Street shortly before 9pm on Friday, November 8 when they were allegedly subjected to verbal abuse from a young male.
The boy is said to have refused to quieten down when instructed and continued to abuse officers before running away.

He was subsequently traced and arrested before being returned home and charged in front of his father.
The 15-year-old, from the Colgrain area, is being considered for a report to the children’s reporter.
