A TECHNICAL fault means the much-loved fairground carousel which is one of the main attractions at Helensburgh's Winter Festival will not be present at this weekend's event.
A replacement ride has been sourced for Saturday, but it is not available for Sunday.
A spokesperson for the festival said the problem was the result of a broken driveshaft.
Apologising for any disappointment, the festival's spokesperson said: "Don't worry if you are coming on Sunday...we still have lots of other kids rides and a packed day of entertainment for everyone!"
