A MAJOR road through Helensburgh and Lomond is closed this morning following a serious accident.
The A817 Haul Road, between Garelochhead and the A82 along Loch Lomondside, has been shut after an incident involving one vehicle shortly after 10am on Tuesday.
Heavy traffic congestion is being reported, with emergency services in attendance. The road is expected to remain shut for some time.

The crash comes just one day after a 76-year-old man was killed in a collision near Faslane naval base.
Police Scotland confirmed the news on Monday evening after a lorry collided with a car on the B872 between Garelochhead and the north gate of HM Naval Base Clyde at around 12 noon.
