THE Arts Society Lomond and Argyll’s first lecture of the new year takes place at the Victoria Halls on Tuesday, January 14.
Guest speaker Natalia Murray will give a fascinating talk on the response to a 1917 proclamation by Russian, and later Soviet, president Vladimir Lenin, stating that culture should support the political needs and ideas of the new Bolshevik state.
