The A82 between Glasgow and Loch Lomond has reopened after a busy stretch of the trunk road was closed following an accident.

Traffic Scotland announced via Twitter just after 4pm that the trunk road had been closed northbound between the Lomondgate roundabout in Dumbarton and the Stoneymollan roundabout at Balloch.

Traffic was reported to be "very slow" in the area.
