Cub Scouts from Helensburgh and across Dunbartonshire and Argyll and Bute took part in a very special overnight experience at Glasgow Science Centre last weekend.

With a huge 265 participants, the event was an amazing success, with Cubs learning about planets and stars in the planetarium, science shows about force, electronics workshop and access to all the exhibits until 11pm.

Cubs then settled down to a cosy evening in the Science Centre where friendships were made over plenty of late-night hot chocolates.

Organiser Stephen Barbour, the assistant district commissioner for Cubs in Dunbartonshire, put the event together with the help of leaders from across the area, as well as Glasgow Science Centre staff.
