THE wintry weather of January may not make for ideal sailing conditions just yet – but if you're planning to get out on the water this summer, an event in Rhu this Saturday could be just the thing.
The Royal Northern and Clyde Yacht Club is hosting a 'boat jumble' at its clubhouse in Rhu this Saturday, February 1.
Anyone wishing to buy or sell boat gear, or related equipment, is welcome to come along.

Tables can be set up from 12 noon, and the sale itself runs from 2-4pm.
Tables cost £5, and there is ample car parking space. The entrance fee for buyers is only £2, and children under 16 get in free.
Lunch and tea will be available in the clubhouse throughout the afternoon.
