PUPILS from Rosneath Primary School have been getting busy disproving the idea that children these days don’t like the great outdoors.
The school’s P6 and P7 pupils spent a week just before their mid-term break at the Ardeonaig Outdoor Centre, next to Loch Tay in Perthshire, picking up a variety of team-building skills.
Canoeing, orienteering and getting to grips with a high-rope climbing frame were just a few of the activities they enjoyed during five days at the centre, one of four across Scotland run by the Abernethy Trust.

And those who stayed at home were kept busy too, creating a short film showcasing the school’s vision and values for their fellow pupils, family and friends.
A spokesperson for the school told the Advertiser: “The children had a fantastic time.”
