HELENSBURGH man Graham Hill was involved in one of the UK's most prestigious Burns Suppers recently, and shared the bill with a former Scotland men's football team manager.
The president of the Burgh's Burns Club travelled to the Caledonian Club in London to recite Burns' iconic poem Tam o' Shanter and give the Toast to the Lassies.
Craig Brown, who managed the men's national team for eight years - and is still the last man to manage the men's national team at a major tournament - gave the Immortal Memory.
And replying for the Lassies was Lorna Bennett, recognised as a Top 100 Rising Star in Science and Engineering in 2019 by women's career website WeAreTheCity.
