A TEAM from the Edinburgh International Science Festival is to visit Helensburgh next month – as part of a project aimed at introducing young children to the wonderful world of scientific discovery.
The Generation Science team will bring their ‘Ella’s Wobble’ science workshop to Lomond School on Friday, March 6 from 3.30-4.30pm – though the free event is open to the whole community to attend.
The ‘immersive storytelling adventure’ is aimed at children aged from three to five, and will see them go on a rhyming journey into the world of sound, testing their ‘making’ skills as they build their own instruments and discover how sounds are made.
The session lasts for 60 minutes, but attendance is limited to 30 children. You can book your place via the event listing on Lomond School’s Facebook page.
