A MAN has been arrested for the alleged possession of a blade and cannabis in a Helensburgh street.
Police officers on patrol in Dennistoun Crescent stopped and engaged with a male on Friday afternoon, February 28, before detaining him for a drugs search.

A small amount of personal use cannabis was allegedly recovered from the 29-year-old, along with a Stanley jab-saw, and the man was arrested and taken to Clydebank police office.
The man, from Bain Crescent, was held in custody to appear at Dumbarton Sheriff Court.
