THESE toddlers from the St Columba Activity Group are all smiles as they take part in a mile-long walk for charity.

The children were out on Helensburgh’s promenade to raise money for Sport Relief in the biennial BBC charity appeal.

The children took part in a toddle warm up by Julie Smith of Funky Fitness, before she blew the whistle to set the group off walking.

At the end of the mile they each received a well-earned medal and goody bag for their efforts, which helped to raise more than £400 for Sport Relief, who held an all-night show on BBC1 last weekend which raised millions of pounds for the cause.

The St Columba toddler group meets every Tuesday morning from 10am until 11.30am at St Columba Church Hall for exciting arts and crafts and fantastic toys for all ages and wonderful singing, to which new members are always welcome.
