With the caption "Stay strong folks", his image has been 'liked' more than 35,000 times with more than 1500 replies of fans left stunned with the look.

He has even been compared to Joe Exotic, from the newly-popular Netflix show Tiger King.

Glasgow singer Amy MacDonald even replied, saying:  “Can you twist your fringe into wee separate sections with gel please?

"Just so we can fully relive the good old days at school in the early 00s.”
