Ally McCoist has paid a warming tribute to Tommy Burns on the 12th anniversary of his death.
In an emotional Instagram post, the Rangers legend shared a picture of himself with Burns, with the caption: "I cannot think of a better person, I couldn’t have asked for a better friend. Tommy Burns - much loved, sorely missed, never forgotten."
In the 80s, the two had been part of Scotland's squads together and also worked as part of Walter Smith's coaching staff with the national squad.
The Celtic hero sadly passed away in 2008 from cancer.
Tributes to the legend have been flooding in on social media.
Celtic Club posted: "They never die who live in the hearts they leave behind. #CelticFC legend, Tommy Burns passed away 12 years ago today."
