POLICE reportedly discovered heroin worth around £500 and a number of white tablets after a search of a Helensburgh property last week.

Officers attended an address in Logie Place on Wednesday morning, May 6 and detained a 32-year-old man for a search.

The man, from Dumbarton, was allegedly found with heroin while the white tablets were seized and sent for analysis.

The man was reported to the procurator fiscal for being in possession of a class A drug with intent to supply to others.
