Elvis the California King Snake has returned - after a three-week jaunt in Shawlands.
His owner Kirsty launched an appeal last month after she realised her big, friendly, non-venomous giant was missing from her Pollokshaws home.
It appears Elvis didn't actually ever leave the building after all, having turned up randomly in a storage box yesterday evening.
Owner Kirsty shared the news on social media last night, saying he is "grounded" for his behaviour.
She said: "Elvis is home! I am so happy to see his wee face.
"Thank you to everyone who wished me well in finding him.
"He’s getting his favourite dinner because I missed him and he’s also grounded for his behaviour!
"He never left the building and turned up randomly in a storage box five minutes ago."
Owner Kirsty has said that since his jaunt, a fellow California King Snake owner has offered Elvis a girlfriend.
