A HELENSBURGH man has been arrested on suspicion of assaulting a woman at a house in the town and damaging a property with a baseball bat.
Police received an urgent call on Sunday, June 21 at around 12pm reporting a male in possession of a baseball bat causing damage within an address in Bain Crescent.
Officers attended immediately and arrested a 30-year-old man for his alleged conduct before taking him to Clydebank police office.

After further enquiries the same man was identified in connection with an alleged assault on a 64-year-old woman from the same household.
The man was held in custody to appear at court on Monday, June 22.
