A MAN allegedly dropped a wrap of heroin while being spoken to by police in Helensburgh.
Officers were reportedly talking to the man, and another male, in Buchanan Road in the town on Tuesday, June 23.
According to police, one of the men, aged 34 and from Rhu, appeared to drop an item during the conversation and then tried to hide it.

The item was retrieved by an officer and allegedly found to be a wrap of brown powder suspected to be heroin.
The substance was later tested and confirmed to be the class A drug.
The man is now the subject of a report to the procurator fiscal.
