A HELENSBURGH children’s charity will launch its virtual Hallowe’en party on October 30 to celebrate the annual spooky holiday.

With the coronavirus pandemic cancelling events across the country, it looks like Hallowe’en will also see restrictions.

However, local charity Fun First will host a Zoom party where there will be a pumpkin carving competition, a fancy dress contest, Hallowe’en craft, storytelling and other activities like singing and rhymes.

Sarah Davies, chair of Fun First, told the Advertiser: “Fun First Helensburgh’s local children’s charity is here for you despite the current pandemic.

“We will continue to do our best to support you virtually in your own homes.
