POLICE in Helensburgh say they hope to trace a man who allegedly shouted abuse at a traffic warden and drove off without accepting a ticket.
An Argyll and Bute Council official is said to have issued a ticket to a vehicle which was allegedly parked within a restricted zone in Sinclair Street car park on the morning of Monday, October 5.

The owner of the vehicle then approached the warden and after explaining the reason for the ticket, the official is said to have been met by verbal abuse before the man removed the ticket, threw it to the ground and drove off.
The incident was reported to the police and local officers say they are following a positive line of enquiry as the vehicle registration number is known.
