Police said the death is not being treated as suspicious
POLICE investigating the disappearance of a man from Johnstone have confirmed they have recovered a body.
Officers had appealed for information on the whereabouts of 50-year-old Kevin Turner after he disappeared from his home on Sunday morning.
Now it has been confirmed that a man's body was found near Thorn Brae at around 10.20am this morning.
Although formal identification is still to take place, Mr Turner's family have been informed.
Police said the death is not being treated as suspicious and a post mortem will be carried out in due course.
