A MAN will appear in court next year charged with a number of road traffic offences, including drink driving, after reportedly crashing his car on the A82 near Tarbet.
Police attended a report of a black Mini that had crashed into a ditch around a quarter of a mile north of the village on the night of Tuesday, November 17.
When officers arrived they found no driver with the vehicle, and a subsequent enquiry allegedly confirmed that a man had been dropped off in Dumbarton after the crash.

A 28-year-old man from Lochaber, who reportedly confirmed he had been driving the vehicle, was later traced and breath tests and checks resulted in him being charged with drink driving, driving without a valid licence and driving with no insurance.
He was released to appear at court in January.
