VIRTUAL fitness classes for parents and little ones in the Helensburgh and Lomond area are restarting this week.

The Fun First sessions, which will be held via Zoom, launch on Friday, January 8 at 10am and are open to parents and pre-schoolers, with brothers and sisters welcome.

Offering a chance to get fit and fulfill new year’s resolutions, the classes will feature games, songs and plenty of fun all in the comfort of your own living room and will continue weekly.

The local children’s charity also recently launched babies Zoom sessions, which returned on Wednesday.

New mums are encouraged to join in for a chat and friendly support with teddy bear themed classes featuring Scots nursery rhymes.

Fun First will also be holding its AGM next week, at 8pm on Tuesday, January 12. New and former supporters are invited to listen in to the online event.

Fun First chair Sarah Davies said: “In the meantime, when you need a break, or a boost in these challenging times, you can log in to our interactive sessions with your favourite leaders on our YouTube channel. Sing and dance to your heart’s content, whenever and wherever you might be.

“Please remember you are not alone. If we can help or support you in any way let us know. Remember a friendly chat can change your day.

“Let’s hope that 2021 will indeed be the year we all meet again.

“In the meantime Fun First will keep going as best we can, as we all head, hopefully singing and dancing, to that light at the end of the tunnel.”
