A HELENSBURGH teenager allegedly breached Covid travel restrictions after being told to self isolate.
Officers spoke with a 16-year-old female from East King Street on Friday, January 15 regarding an issue that had been reported to police, and during the conversation it allegedly became apparent that the teen had travelled to the Kirkintilloch area for no essential reason.

The teenager had been contacted by NHS test and trace and instructed to self isolate before travelling.
She was charged with breaching Covid-19 legislation and the incident has been referred to the children’s reporter.
