OFFERS are being invited to take over the running of a popular village diner.
New owners are being sought for The Perch Cafe in Garelochhead, which provides breakfasts, brunches, lunches, cakes and coffee in the community.
Current owner Fergus Madigan, whose partner, Rachael Roberts, runs wedding florist business Vanilla Rose, shared a post on The Perch’s Facebook page this week, stating: “Family comes first they say and I simply cannot put in the hours needed for what will be a super busy staycation summer.
“Off on a new venture that will allow more flexibility I need with a young family and a partner whose own business is gearing up for a busy year ahead.
“The Perch is up for sale (leasehold), will be sold with a 10 year lease on very reasonable terms, all fittings, furniture, equipment, social media - everything!
“I can honestly say it is a brilliant little place to run with loads of opportunities and low overheads.”
Offers above £45,000 will be considered for the cafe.
