Police have been carrying out speed checks at Ballyheenan Crescent in Tarbet in recent weeks
POLICE say they have issued a number of tickets to speeding drivers in Tarbet recently.
Officers have been conducting static speed checks at the village’s Ballyhennan Crescent, just off the A83 and near the Slanj restaurant, over the last few days and have issued several fines to drivers exceeding the 30mph limit.
Three separate drivers have also been reported to the procurator fiscal for driving over 50mph in the 30mph zone, which exceeds the limit for which a ticket can be issued.
