The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service is looking to recruit retained firefighters for its stations in Helensburgh and Lomond and beyond
THE Scottish Fire and Rescue Service has reopened its recruitment drive for on-call ‘retained’ firefighters in the Helensburgh and Lomond area.
Applications are being invited from members of the public interested in joining the ‘retained duty system’ at the fire stations in Helensburgh, Garelochhead, Cove and Arrochar, and other locations across Argyll and Bute and East and West Dunbartonshire.
Applicants must be aged over 18 and must live within eight minutes of their local fire station. The deadline for applications is the end of May.
