A MAN who was reportedly more than three times over the legal alcohol limit was arrested for alleged drink driving near Helensburgh.
Police officers stopped a male driving a grey Lexus on the A814 at Colgrain on Saturday, April 17 after concerns regarding the manner of his driving.
The man, a 43-year-old from Dumbarton, is said to have failed a roadside breath test before being arrested and taken to Clydebank police office.
Further samples of breath were analysed and allegedly returned readings showing the man was more than three times over the legal limit, which, in Scotland, is currently 22 microgrammes of alcohol in 100ml of breath.
The man was due to appear at Dumbarton Sheriff Court last week.
