A VILLAGE hall which has been almost completely shut down since Christmas is expected to reopen when level 2 restrictions take effect in Scotland later this month.

The Arrochar and Tarbet Community Development Trust says most of the activities at the Three Villages Hall in Arrochar will be able to resume from Monday, May 17.

In a social media post the trust said the only activities which would remain restricted after that date are adult indoor contact sport and indoor events with an alcohol licence.

The trust is planning to hold a community coffee morning, socially distanced and with ‘household’ tables, at the hall on Saturday, May 8, coinciding with the anniversary of VE Day and raising money for PoppyScotland.
