A MAN from London was found driving past Loch Lomond without a valid licence recently, according to police in Helensburgh.
Officers on mobile patrol on the A82 reportedly had cause to stop a blue Toyota which was seen being driven on the trunk road at 1.55am on Saturday, May 29.
According to police, checks carried out by officers at the scene found that the man, identified as a 24-year-old from London, was driving a hire car without a valid licence – and that as a result he was also allegedly driving without insurance.
A report on the incident will be sent to the procurator fiscal.
