HELENSBURGH Community Council is appealing for volunteers to help freshen up the shrub beds in Colquhoun Square ahead of the peak summer visitor season.
The organisation is holding a re-planting, weeding and general tidy-up session in the square this Saturday, June 19, from 10am to 12 noon.
Convener Norman Muir said: “We need as many folk as can make it to come along and make a concerted effort to freshen up all the shrub beds in the square.
“You do not need any expertise, but please bring along your own gardening implements, such as spades, forks and other items.”
