A MAN has been charged by police for allegedly using sectarian language towards staff at a village hotel over the weekend.
Officers were called to a hotel in Arrochar at around 10pm on Sunday, July 11 after a male customer was reportedly aggressive and threatening to staff.
Police say the man was also heard using sectarian language.
A 45-year-old man from South Lanarkshire was identified as being responsible, according to police.

He was arrested and taken to Clydebank police office while witnesses were spoken to.
The man has been charged with a disorder offence with a religious aggravation and a report has been sent to the procurator fiscal.
