THE community group behind Rosneath’s Enchanted Nature Trail have announced plans to transform the area into a frightful – but fun – forest for a packed day of Hallowe’en activities later this month.
The trail, at the village’s Clachan Glen, which opened to the public in June, will host a busy programme of free events on Saturday, October 30 including a pet fancy dress competition running from 1-2pm, a children’s Hallowe’en party including games, a buffet and treats from 3-4pm, and a walk through the ‘Forest of Frights’ from 6-8pm – described as “definitely not suitable for younger children” – once darkness has fallen.
Autumn Brown from Rosneath Events, the trail’s creator, has issued an appeal for volunteers to help on the day and/or night of the event.
If you are able to lend a hand, get in touch via the Rosneath Events page on Facebook or call Autumn on 07733 284443.
