A Helensburgh-based charity which provides horse riding and carriage driving sessions to people with physical, mental or learning difficulties is hoping a new project can inspire more visitors to support its work.
Gareloch RDA, which was founded in 1976, has launched ‘tea with a pony’ sessions, offering guests a chance to have a cuppa at Colgrain Equestrian Centre and meet the charity’s team of volunteers while watching riding, carriage driving, long reining or grooming.
You can even try your hand at some grooming - or just enjoy a pony hug.
The sessions last three to four hours and cost £15; for more information contact Gillie by emailing garelochrdavolunteers@gmail.com.
