CARDROSS Parish Church’s first in-person fund-raiser for two years will take place this weekend.

The church halls complex in the village’s Station Road will play host to an autumn afternoon tea at 2pm on Saturday, November 6.

Tickets cost £6 for adults and £1.50 for children, and are available on the door or in advance from ticketsource.co.uk (search for ‘Cardross Parish Church’).

The event – the church’s first face-to-face fund-raiser since November 2019, before the pandemic intervened – will also feature a raffle with a selection of donated prizes – the main one being a hamper from the Morrisons supermarket in Helensburgh. All Covid precautions will be in place to ensure the event is safe for all to attend.
