The Luss half marathon will start at Rossdhu House
KEEN runners - and willing first timers - are being encouraged to sign up for a half marathon in Luss next year.
Bookings are now open for the event, which is scheduled to take place on Saturday, May 28, 2022 - the same weekend as the Edinburgh marathon.
The "super hilly single loop" route starts at Rossdhu House on the shore of Loch Lomond and includes technical trails that will challenge all runners.
Beginning at 9am the 13.1 mile course includes a total ascent of 1,595 metres on rough paths which, organisers say, "makes this half marathon physically demanding and challenging".
All entrants must be aged 17 or over to enter and booking costs £19.99.
