THERE are just a few weeks left to get your tickets for this year’s Cove and Kilcreggan Book Festival.

Over the weekend of November 27 and 28, top authors and special guests will host readings and workshops at Cove Burgh Hall.

Douglas Stuart will be making an appearance following the success of his Booker Prize-winning novel Shuggie Bain.

Denise Mina and James Robertson will discuss their respective new works, Rizzio and News of the Dead.

YouTube celebrity Labradors Olive and Mabel are also bringing along their sports commentator owner, Andrew Cotter, for a chat.

Other guests include the BBC’s Gavin Esler, Scabby Queen author Kirstin Innes, and playwright Alan Bisset.

Tickets cost £7 a session or £40 for a weekend pass and are available online from coveburghhall.org.uk.
