A MUSEUM in Helensburgh is hosting a unique Remembrance ‘concert’ this weekend to raise money for war veterans.
The Scottish Submarine Centre on West King Street is running an audio-visual presentation on both Saturday and Sunday at 11am, 12pm, 2pm, and 3pm.
The presentation will be accompanied by a musical recording of the Helensburgh String Quartet and readings by local actor Scott McGinley.
The museum’s staff hope the two days’ events will help people reflect on the sacrifices made by military personnel during both world wars and in the present day.
Entry to the event will be by donation, and the proceeds will be split between the Erskine charity for former service personnel and the Submarine Centre.
