SHOPWORKERS in Luss had a surprise customer this week when a Hollywood actor stopped by.

Gerard Butler was spotted at Luss Village Shop, with the store sharing snaps on social media with the famous film star on Wednesday.

Born in Paisley, Butler - who is best known for his part in 300, and has also appeared in Law Abiding Citizen, The Bounty Hunter and P.S. I Love You - isn't a stranger to the village shop.

In fact he has a plaque on the wall of the store, alongside Joanna Lumley, having popped in for a roll and sausage in December 2018.

The Loch Lomondside village has not been short of celebrity visitors in recent years with former Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher taking in the sights before a gig in Glasgow in November 2019, while Still Game star Sanjeev Kohli was seen filming on Luss pier earlier that year for a short movie called The Last Mermaid.
