A 10-year-old child was knocked down in an alleged hit and run incident in Helensburgh days before Christmas.
According to police a vehicle travelling east on the A814 Cardross Road struck the child at a bus stop across from Talisman Crescent last Wednesday, December 22.
The incident is said to have occurred at around 2.35pm and the driver of the vehicle reportedly failed to stop.
Police believe the vehicle involved may have been an older style silver/blue Ford Fusion.
Officers are appealing for the driver of the vehicle, any witnesses or anyone with dash-cam footage to contact PC Gallacher at Helensburgh police office.
