HEALTH chiefs have set up more Covid vaccination sessions in Helensburgh, Garelochhead, Arrochar and Cove as the rollout of the booster jag across the area continues.

There are sessions this week in Arrochar, Cove and Garelochhead - but Helensburgh residents will have to wait a little bit longer for the next sessions in the town itself.

First, second, third and booster doses will be available at the Three Villages Hall in Arrochar on Tuesday, January 11, at Cove Burgh Hall on Wednesday, January 12, and at Centre 81 in Garelochhead on Thursday, January 13.

All of this week’s sessions run from 9am until 4pm and are by appointment only - book online at vacs.nhs.scot/csp if you don’t already have a slot.

The next clinics in Helensburgh itself are at Helensburgh Parish Church’s halls complex, The Bridge in Colquhoun Street, on Tuesday, January 18, Wednesday, January 19 and Thursday, January 20 - all from 10am to 6pm.

Again, appointments must be booked in advance online if you haven’t already been given a time.
