A CAR was reportedly stolen from outside a home in Helensburgh over the weekend, according to police.
The owner of a red 57 plate Mini Cooper is said to have parked her vehicle outside a property in the town’s Suffolk Street on Friday evening.
Police say that according to the owner of the vehicle, it was still in the same position at 5am on Saturday, January 8.
However, after checking again at around 8am the owner allegedly realised the vehicle had been stolen.
According to police, the car was later discovered parked near the Co-operative Food store in Cardross.
Anyone with information about the incident can call 101 and ask for Helensburgh police office.
