The Lomond School music department takes centre stage this Sunday, March 27, in the latest in the ‘Sunday at Seven’ concert series at Helensburgh Parish Church.
This will be the first time in two years that any Lomond group has performed in front of an audience and they couldn’t be more excited.
Head of music Doug Fleming has put together a wonderfully varied programme of music for this event with all of the school’s senior extra-curricular ensembles scheduled to perform during the concert, together with some of their most talented soloists.
The repertoire includes music from composers as wide-ranging as Purcell and Einaudi, and film music, jazz and Scottish traditional items too.
The concert – which, as the name of the series suggests, starts at 7pm – lasts one hour. Entry is free with an opportunity to give a donation as you leave.
