LIVE music has made a welcome return to a popular visitor attraction near Dumbarton in the first in a new series of events running throughout the spring and summer.
The first Summer In The Garden event at Geilston Garden in Cardross saw local a capella choir Tartan Harmony show off their considerable vocal talents to members of the public.
The event - along with all the Summer in the Garden days - was organised by the venue’s independent supporters, the Friends of Geilston, who also provided teas, coffees and home baking.
A spokesperson for the Friends said: “The cakes were delicious, the choir was harmonious and the garden looked glorious. Many thanks if you managed to come along. We hope you enjoyed the day.
“And if you were unable to attend, don’t worry, we have more such days in the coming months.”
Further Summer In The Garden events are planned for July and September, but before then there’s a ‘willow obelisk’ workshop, led by Lorna Scaife, on Tuesday, May 17 from 10.30am-1pm.
The workshop costs £49.50 per participant and includes all materials and use of tools. Normal garden entry fees apply.
