A CLYNDER family are offering people the chance to raise money for Help for Heroes when they open their home and garden for a day for an exhibition of stained and fusion glass art by renowned Dumbarton based artist Cass Peters this weekend.
And just in case the Scottish summer doesn’t play nicely they will be serving the cream teas in a wonderful transparent dome.
Alison Murray and her family will be holding the charity event at their home at Elmbank, Shore Road, on Saturday, June 25.
Alison said: “There is no fee but donations will be very welcome. Help For Heroes is a cause close to our hearts so we hope that people will be generous!”
Cass’s works will be exhibited in the house. She is currently working on a commission for Dundee Botanical Gardens and runs stained and fusion glass art classed at her studion in Dumbarton. The event will open at noon and run to 5pm.
